Why we travel…
Years ago as a single mom, I decided that life experiences, traveling the world and exploring new cultures was an important thing to share with my young daughter. Through the years, we have explored our wanderlust together…visiting amazing and beautiful places, both near and far.
I wanted to freeze these precious moments in this journey we were on. In doing so, I discovered another love, the love of photography. To capture and share the beauty this world has to offer is extremely rewarding.
Along the way, I’ve captured beautiful landscapes and photos of our time spent traveling, at the same time learning tips and tricks of finding more beautiful places to explore. As my daughter and I, along with those we love, continue to complete our extensive bucket list, we thought it would we would document and share the journey with you.
What we look for in our travels…
In order for our experiences to help inform yours, you must understand what we are looking for in our travels. It may be completely different than what your own expectations are.
We are explorers. We look for big beautiful open places in nature, foreign cultures, exciting adventures or unique places. We often have a busy itinerary that leave us in need of a vacation from or vacation. We do this because we want to see as much of the world as possible. We don’t spend much time at all going out to fancy dinners that take hours or relaxing in fancy hotels because this would reduce the time we have to explore. I will add though, that my daughter is an aspiring foodie, and some of that may change in the future. If you are looking for luxury hotel and dining recommendations, we are not the travelers for you. Now if you are looking for beauty in this world…follow us and we can find it together!!
